What Are Dentures?
Dentures are gum-colored acrylic bases that have false teeth connected to them. They can complete your smile if you’re missing all of your teeth in your upper or lower jaw or just a few teeth depending on your needs. Our full and partial dentures preserve the shape of your cheeks and lips, getting rid of that sunken look that missing teeth can unfortunately give you. Don’t settle for closed-mouth smiles and feeling self-conscious about the gaps in your grin. Get in to see us and see how dentures can transform your life!Schedule Your Consultation
Proper Denture Care
For those new to the world of dentures, here are some basic tips for how to keep your dentures in tip-top shape:
- Don’t use hot water when caring for your dentures. It can cause the material to warp, leading to a bad fit or aesthetic issues.
- Don’t use regular toothpaste to clean your dentures. It is actually too abrasive for the denture material and can end up damaging the acrylic.
- Brush your dentures every day using a denture brush or soft toothbrush using denture-specific cleaner. This will clean away any food or plaque that’s built up and prevent the dentures from staining.
- Place your dentures in a special soaking solution when you’re not wearing them to ensure they don’t dry out and lose their shape.
